Africa is one of the fastest-growing economic centres in the world and generates the interest of many leading international organisations. This economic growth also comes with a consequent need to recruit exceptional talent from and for the region.
To assist the International Public Sector Organisations with their recruitment effort, Global Careers is organising a campaign and a unique Online Careers Event for Africa on 12 September 2019. Multiple organisations will participate in the event and engage with talented and ambitious professionals from Africa.
The campaign will feature exclusive job opportunities, editorial, interviews and careers information from diverse International Organisations, alongside an online careers event for talented professionals with 5+ years experience based in Africa or looking for the next step in their career in Africa.
UNESCO is a United Nation’s specialized agency seeking to build peace through international cooperation in Education, the Sciences, Culture and Communication and Information. Advancing cooperation in these fields makes UNESCO’s participation and contribution in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development more relevant than ever.
UNESCO’s global priorities are Africa and Gender Equality. As such, UNESCO and development partners are attentive to 54 African countries with a stronger and better-targeted strategy.

UNESCO seeks to strengthen its diversity recruiting by reaching out to African Nationals with relevant post-graduate degrees and work experience. Looking to engage with multi-lingual candidates with specific backgrounds, namely – Humanities, Social, Environmental & Human Sciences, Culture, International Public Law, Programme Management and Education.
