The term of contract – 3 to 6 months


The Intern will work under the supervision of experienced colleagues to carry out a work assignment and will report to the Human Resources Directorate. More generally, the incumbent provides support for the activity and, more particularly, is responsible for the following responsibilities:

  • Assist the HR officers in the implementation of HR policies
  • Assist the Directorate in the implementation of IT solutions
  • Provide analyses and trends and conduct benchmark on HR related topics
  • Administrative support: organization of meetings; taking minutes; preparing presentations: formatting and translating documents as well as financial administration support



  • Have, at least, completed an undergraduate degree (from university or other accredited institution) in Human Resources, Social Sciences; Business administration; Communication or (administrative) Law

Linguistic skills:

  • Have perfect command of written and spoken English, knowledge of French, the other Bank’s official language, would be an asset

Professional skills:

  • Possess strong analytical, quantitative and computer skills
  • A short experience in office management, preferably in HR and in another International Organisation, would be an advantage

Candidate criteria

Employment Conditions

  • Be less than 28 years
  • Be a national of one of CEB member states
  • Have completed studies less than 2 years previously

Internships at the CEB are intended to give interns a general overview of the CEB’s objectives and activities.

The internship will be offered for a period ranging from 3 months to 6 months, with a possibility for further extension up to a maximum of 9 months depending on business needs. Work is undertaken at CEB offices in Paris. A starting date will apply to you and will be confirmed at the time of the offer.

Admission to an internship does not confer on the intern the status of a CEB staff member, nor does it confer any entitlement to a subsequent appointment on a permanent or temporary basis. CEB evaluates applications based on eligibility requirements, the relevance of academic study and level of interest and motivation to contribute to development work.

lnterns at the CEB are paid a flat-rate allowance as an indemnity and support towards living costs and public transportation.
