Role overview

You will provide technical support to local implementing partners in livelihoods , including supporting curriculum development, value chain analysis, business planning, and Village small scale lending Associations (VSLAs); –

Skills, qualifications and experience

  • You should have a relevant first degree with at least 5 years’ experience working with and supporting groups in Business development, Project management.
  • You have knowledge and skills in Agribusiness, private sector engagement and international development
  • You have experience establishing and maintaining relationships with individuals and organisations at all levels and working with and leading teams.
  • Portuguese-speaker preferred (Italian/Spanish acceptable

Allowance and accommodation

All volunteers have an allowance paid in local currency. The allowance meets reasonable living expenses in country, but will not be enough to send money home.

VSO works with some of the poorest communities in the world which means accommodation varies and will be basic.
