GCF4-IMF-logo-150x150pxWe are delighted to announce that the IMF will be exhibiting at our next Global Careers Fair on 25-26 June.  Recruiters from their Technology & General Services Department will be interested in talking to high caliber managers and professionals to work in Washington, DC in the areas of: Information Technology and Services, Facilities Management, Sourcing and Procurement, Support Functions and Translating.

The IMF helps its 188 member governments manage the challenges posed by globalization and economic developments.  It tracks and alerts its member countries when it sees problems on the horizon, provides a forum policy dialogue, and passes on know-how to governments on how to tackle economic difficulties. The IMF works with developing nations to help them achieve macroeconomic stability and reduce poverty. The global economic crisis has highlighted just how interconnected countries have become in today’s world economy and focused attention on the importance of the IMF’s work.

The Technology and General Services Department of the IMF provides the environment and tools to support the IMF’s work. They are a lean, fast-paced group that embraces the challenge of excellent service delivery in a dynamic, evolving organization—developing and delivering leading-edge services, systems, and infrastructure to support their base of 2,400 employees from around the world.
