To assist the EU Institutions and Bodies with their recruitment effort, Global Careers is organising a uniquely focused European Union Online Career Fair on 06 May 2021.

The participating organisations such as the European Medicine Agency (EMA), the European GNSS Agency (GSA), and the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) will have various opportunities to offer around the EU 27 and their recruiters will be available during the event to discuss career opportunities with pre-selected candidates, and review their profile to help them apply to the suitable positions.

Essential criteria to attend the event:

  • Are you an EU National? You must be a citizen of an EU country to register for this event.
  • Do you have at least 3 years of relevant professional work experience for the career or role you’re considering apply for?
  • Do you hold a postgraduate degree such as a Masters, MBA or Ph.D? (For this experienced candidate only event a minimum you’ll need a Bachelors degree to register)
  • Do you have language skills? (Most EU organisations typically require perfect knowledge of one official EU language to level C2 and a thorough knowledge of a second EU language to level B2 – some positions will require a third and others require C1/C2 language levels for the second/third languages)
  • Are you motivated to work for the EU and eventually relocate? EU organisations are based in multiple locations and you will need to consider moving to the post location?

The European GNSS Agency (GSA) is responsible for the operations and service provision for the European Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) EGNOS and Galileo. By developing a new generation of GNSS, Europe is laying the foundation for new high-technology industry development, leading to job creation and economic growth.

With the introduction of the new Space Regulation, expected to enter into force this year, the Agency will transform into European Union Space Programme Agency (EUSPA). We will expand the scope of our activities beyond Galileo and EGNOS, to other exciting projects, such as “Copernicus” for Earth Observation, GOVSATCOM for Governmental Space Communications and Space Situational Awareness (SSA).
