JPO Programme for German Nationals
The JPO Programme recruits Junior Professional Officers for the UN network of organisations. JPOs are recruited under bilateral agreements between the UN and donor countries such as Germany.
Candidates are young professionals, usually with an advanced university degree and a minimum of two years of professional experience. JPO positions are generally at P1 and P2 level.
The German Büro Führungskräfte zu Internationalen Organisationen (BFIO) has been promoting and placing German nationals in UN organisations worldwide for many years.
If you are a young German professional looking for a new challenge, interested in a career that will broaden your horizons and where you can use your skills with a meaningful purpose, the JPO Programme could be what you are looking for! We are hosting an online, interactive information event where you can directly chat with BFIO staff, register here.
Do you have medical training? Or are you a scientist? Perhaps your skills are better suited to Peacekeeping and Human Rights? The JPO is for people with a variety of skills and experience.
