United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA)

United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), works to deliver a world where every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe and every young person’s potential is fulfilled.

UNFPA is the world’s largest source of population assistance. We are on the ground improving lives in more than 150 countries. We are a catalyst for action and advocacy.

Through partnerships with governments, other UN agencies, civil society and the private sector, UNFPA makes a positive difference in the lives of billions of people most in need. We advocate for universal access to sexual and reproductive health, promote reproductive rights, reduce maternal mortality and accelerate progress on the Millennium Goals to empower and improve the lives of underserved populations.

UNFPA prides itself in improving the lives of those most vulnerable. We continue to break the cycle of poverty, strengthen the social fabric and create a sustainable future. It’s our objective to respond to tomorrow’s challenges today. We are driven to ensure that the reproductive health and rights of women and young people remains the centre of our work.
